CLINIC DESCRIPTION

Ellie Family Services is a growing mental health and wellness agency based out of Saint Paul and serving the entire metro area through individual, family, and group therapy services, ARMHS, CTSS, In-Home Therapy & Embedded programming. The Ellie Staff prides itself in being an innovative and creative team that works collaboratively with clients and community providers to deliver the most comprehensive and personalized treatment to all clients. Ellie Family Services is excited to welcome a Mental Health Practitioner to our growing team of ARMHS, CTSS, In-Home Therapy & Embedded clinicians!

JOB DUTIES

  • Complete assessment and treatment planning to direct rehabilitative and skills-focused services in a variety of settings, including home and community based.
  • Complete diagnostic evaluations with supervision and treat clients in-home (with potential for some limited in-office openings)
  • Establish personal recovery goals, rehabilitative goals, and objectives with each client
  • Utilize creativity in rehabilitative interventions to help clients achieve goals
  • Prepare and submit individual documentation for each session per company guidelines and protocol
  • Coordinate services with case managers, families, work personnel, medical personnel, and school staff as needed
  • Maintain minimum billable hours weekly
  • Attend and participate in all clinical staff meetings and training

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Candidates are required to have one of the following:
    • Master’s degree in one of the behavioral sciences or related fields from an accredited college or university OR
    • Current enrollment as a graduate student in one of the behavioral sciences or related fields and formally assigned to Ellie Family Services for clinic training by an accredited college or university OR
    • ARMHS Only – Bachelor’s degree in one of the behavioral sciences or related fields and 2,000 hours of supervised experience in the delivery of clinical services in the treatment of mental illness or emotional disturbance
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to demonstrate and model stable, appropriate boundaries with clients
  • Ability to complete and submit documentation of services and other documents in a timely manner
  • Comfort and familiarity working with diverse client base
  • Proficient in the use of typical office technology (computers, e-mail, etc.) and Electronic Health Record systems
  • Possession of a valid driver’s license and auto insurance
  • Ability to pass a background check
  • Ideal candidates will have a general knowledge of ARMHS services, therapy services, and previous experience with mental health documentation

Ellie really wants someone who is detail oriented, a quick learner, always has a super sunny smile on their face (I mean not always, but at such a fun place to work, this isn’t actually super hard #workgoals), has a background in working in a medical practice, knowledgeable of insurance and billing is a plus! Must be creative, hard working, a culture contributor, customer service focused, must like cats (I mean, really), and overall be willing to be the face of our company when people walk in!

Also if you’re trained in Procentive, and know a little about mental health, a HUGE Plus!

Duties – Yup, I said it.

– Faxing, Scanning, Emailing.
– Answering Phones and taking referral information
-Reply to record requests
-Print and send monthly statements for specific departments
– Office upkeep
– Making one helluva pot of coffee.
– Check people in for their appointment
– Support Clinical Staff
– Correspond with Managerial staff often and in a timely manner
– Schedule some appointments, take some payments (this is not all the time, only for specific people)
– Attend and participate in all necessary staff meetings and trainings
– Other stuff we probably forgot to add but just as meaningful and important to your role 😉

Requirements:

– 3+ years experience navigating payroll and HR functions at a company with 75+ employees.
– Bachelors Degree in Human Resources or related field.
– 7+ years of direct human resources experience may substitute, if Bachelors is not in human resources or related field.

Job Duties
• Preparing or updating employment records related to hiring, transferring, promoting, and terminating
• Explaining human resources policies, procedures, laws, and standards to new and existing employees
• Ensuring new hire paperwork is completed and processed
• Informing job applicants of job duties, responsibilities, benefits, schedules, working conditions, promotion opportunities, etc.
• Addressing any employment relations issues, such as work complaints and harassment allegations
• Processing all personnel action forms and ensuring proper approval
• Overseeing hiring process, which includes coordinating job posts, reviewing resumes, and performing reference checks
• Completing all bi-weekly payroll and working closely with billing to ensure accuracy
• Implementing the organization’s recruiting strategy
• Assisting with completing background investigations
• Maintaining records of employee participation in all training and development programs
• Maintaining accident records
• Preparing government reports as to remain in compliance
• Assisting in ordering and setting up new hire technology (email, ipads, etc.)
